First, let´s explain some amazing properties. Cacao contains over 300 compounds including: protein, fat, carbohydrates, fiber, iron, zinc, copper, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, sulfur etc. It may increase your focus and alertness and contains nutrients to keep you happy. All this is due to Phenylethylamine contained in the cacao. Anandamide can be produced in the brain when we are feeling great, cacao makes anandamide stick around longer. Also contains the highest concentration of antioxidants of any food in the world. These antioxidants   include polyphenols, catechins, and epicatechins. By weight, Cacao beans have more antioxidants than red wine, blueberries, acai, pomegranates, and goji berries COMBINED. If it is certified as Organic Raw Cacao then it is an excellent source of antioxidants and if it is not then you are consuming a whole lot of chemicals from irradiation and spraying of chemicals which are standard practice in growing cacao beans.
